Our Village

Gwalchmai is situated by the A5 on the isle of Anglesey. The village is approximately 6 miles West of Llangefni, a busy market town. During 2001 the residents of Gwalchmai saw some significant changes in the village. They had become accustomed to heavy traffic travelling along the main road to the busy port of Holyhead. However, since the continuation of the A55 dual carriageway to Holyhead, the heavy traffic through the village has subsided, thus making Gwalchmai a safer, and far quieter place.
